You probably didn't come here to read about me. You came because something caught your eye — a fragrance, a label, a moment of "oh, that's for me." So let's start there.
You're someone who gives a lot. To your work, your people, the list that never quite empties. And somewhere between all of that, the idea of a beautiful candle or a long bath stops being a nice-to-have and starts feeling like a necessity. Not indulgence — just sanity.
That's exactly why Wilde Apple Tree exists.
The honest version of how this started
"How hard could it be?" — famous last words of someone who had absolutely no idea.
What began as a creative escape from a job I'd outgrown quickly became a deep dive into scent blending, wick testing, wax tempering and more failed test pours than I care to admit. Somewhere in the middle of all that mess, I fell completely in love with the process.
Especially the part where fragrance connects so powerfully to memory — a moment, a place, sometimes even a person. That idea is at the heart of everything I make.
I work solo — every candle hand-poured in small batches, every bath product made with the same obsessive attention to getting it right. I occasionally have help from my daughter, when she decides I've earned it.
Why "Wilde Apple Tree"?
The name comes from a piece of family history — a relative whose traditional name translated to "Wild Apple Tree." I added the e to make it my own. A little untamed, a little grounded — which felt about right for this whole adventure.
One more thing
Fragrance is deeply personal — and I've learned that what stops one person in their tracks won't move another at all. Both reactions are completely fine. What I care about is that when something connects with you, it really connects.
Every product I make is designed to give you that moment. The exhale at the end of a long day. The bath that's actually for you. The fragrance that makes your home feel like yours.
